Hmm, Chinese tattoo equipment from ebay? Sounds like a recipe for Septicemia myself, but well done for having the balls to do it!

    Not bad!

The girl I'm seeing did all of hers herself, except for the swastika on her back

For 3,000 years it represented power, strength, good luck etc, so I doubt it.

I've fancied getting a few over the years, but don't want to look like a knob when I'm an old man with **** covering my body.

One word......why. As a huge Tattoo fan and slut to the ink....DIY tattooing is crazy. It takes years of training and a great deal of skill to produce a great tattoo. Put the gun down and walk away.

I am disappointed, was expecting something hilariously bad.

Pay a good tattooist £2k and be his or her bitch for the next 2 years..ie do an aprentiship, get really good at drawing, get some Public liability insurance for at least 5million or so..then when a professional tattooist thinks you can touch someone with a needle..you can practice all you like. Without proper training or the correct credentials its assault...you'll get sued big time if it goes bad.
I know a few scratchers and they are bad news.

I'd like to have a go with one of those DIY tattoo things. Are they really any good, or would I be better to use a 6 inch nail from the garden fence and a Parkinson's patient?

I'd like something like this, I think some tattoo's don't age too well (tribal and celtic spring to mind):

    Obviously wouldn't do it myself.
One dog goes one way and the other goes the other.
And this guy's saying, "Whaddya want from me?"
