    help testing my website

    Hi guys ,

can some people try my new website , Photo fields - See what other peole are taking photos of

basically i am trying to attempt to get 100,000 images all laid out in a big field type system. All sorts of photos welcome ( keep it clean , images are removed if not )

i know the site is not that pretty looking yet , but i am working on that.

i just want some more images , and people to give some feed back ( even like it on face book )

it uses google maps to display all the images , so you can scroll / zoom and pan just like google.

    regards

    Matt

Spelling mistake right at the top of the page, says 'peole', as you'll see in your link as well

For the love of God, please read the rules

If you want honest criticism, it looks reeaaally awful. I know it's early days, but it just seems like it was built by different (blind) people.

1 - Horrible generic logo with white cutout edges - it's a photo of a field - come on man!!!!!!!
2 - Font - you may as well use comic sans in pink,
3 - This is huge and looks awful,
4 - Background is terrible and it doesn't loop/tile properly on larger monitors. It's not because it's green, it just looks like it's a windows desktop background.

Why not have tags so you don't end up looking at random close ups of low quality photos of people's faces/cars/house? The google thing is good, but I don't think it suits your thing that well.
I don't think there's a website to has photos grouped to location, that'd be a nice touch. Hope you don't take this as offensive, I just thought I'd say.
One dog goes one way and the other goes the other.
And this guy's saying, "Whaddya want from me?"

cheers for your feed back , don't worry .. takes allot to offend me ... i thought the logo was quite good myself .. lol ... but as you can tell . i don't do graphics .. so will work on it...

will have a look at the back ground , as i dont have a large monitor .. so was hard to tell

the idea is to have lots of non releated photos ... more of an art thing .. but have added a grouping so i have the option later to generate new tiles/maps/fields for a specific group

    thanks again for your time
