Not only cheap petrol in Tesco but........

Petrol price as of today was 130.9p/L Don't forget from time to time they have 5p/l off when you spend £50 or more, today I got £5.00 off my next shopping bill when it is over £50, so even better deal than petrol, since I can only load 60 liters in my cally so 5p/L only saves me £3.00 wheras £50 shopping saves me £5.00

But quality kitchenware, and I ended up buying just cause of the price £2.75! (You can't even get a handle for that!

    Absolute Bargain.

best of all its Made in Italy for a change and not in China! Quality wise 9/10, weight fairly heavy and so heat distribution would be excellent.

    get there now!

You can also use that next time somebody tries to steal some wing mirrors

Nemesis, actually it is so shiney you could directly replace BMW mirrors, apart from smashing the culprits head!

Paul, most probably they will be writing to Mig masters for their permission! I wanted to post it in another fairly recent thread on here which discussed kitchenware stuff, but after a few keyword searches i gave up and had to start this thread. My wife is well pleased with this frying pan, normally you can pick up cheap steel ones for around that price and they are no good for heat distribution and cook uneven.

Very apt. Sod petrol, just buy an old diesel and get some veg oil. If your car breaks down whizz out the frying pan, drain your fuel tank and knock yourself up some sausages in diesel sauce as you wait for the RAC.

I love Tesco for their "5p off" deals. Especially when you have to buy washing powder that costs about £30 more than any other shop lmao.
Before Billing I thought I'd do the spend £50/save 5p thing, £95 later I saved a whole £3 on a tank of fuel and I had to go to another Tesco when I was down there to get more stuff . I guess 99% of Joe Public believes that 5p off a litre is a big deal and forgets the place is a rip off!

It is a pretty poor deal but I'd shop there anyway, so it's a bonus.

The way I look at it, Tesco have some pretty good own-label stuff, which is sometimes 10% of the price of branded goods which are often the same products (look at the nutritional values per 100g, they are identical most of the time). Add to that the clubcard scheme, and the till vouchers you get after purchase and it gets even cheaper.

Granted they build too many stores which stick out like a sore thumb, and prices WILL go up once they have eliminated the competition... but still, they rock IMO

Don't get me wrong, I still shop at Tesco, mainly because it's convenient! There's one 1/4 mile from work and one 2 miles from my house which is ideal, the nearest Asda is about 8 miles away.

    That's not too bad.

Where my parents live there are 3 giant 24hr superstores within a couple of miles, and 3 tesco express

Re: Not only cheap petrol in Tesco but........

where could you get cream rice pudding for 15p!

and where could you get full cream custard can for 20p!

My goodness I could live on a budget of £50 a week if Iwanted to.

Incidently, I have been charged wrongly on one product (12 little cans of cat food by Gourmet which should have been priced at 39p a can or you get 6 for £2.00, so they charged me 62p each and I am now due a Double Refund! thats just brilliant!! so I will be £6.88 better off plus the £5.00 voucher for my next £50 shopping, and as for petrol......hmmm I doubt if anyone can tell any difference in power yield, but I do not argue to the fact fuel could be contaminated at that particular store you fill at.
