hi guys im 20. ive been with my girlfriend a year now and it been good but with ups and downs eg: her having a miss carriage . we both live together and i just want her to know how much she means to me .. i just dont know how to go about it .. ive been saving for a ring and have seen the one i want to get her ..

please bare in mind i want her to remember it for the rst of her life but for the right reasons

20 is way too young! If you do marry and have kids, but then split up and get a divorce what's going to happen? If you love each other loads, then what's two years? Marriage isn't going to change anything.

When I was 20, I was in the same position and wanted to get married, etc, but I was single again after a year. Just saying people change, especially at 20 as you're still 'developing' and maturing. 15 years later and after an 8 year relationship, I'm single again - I wasted opportunities in those 8 years. Girls like security before commitment, or in today's equivalent world can you provide for all her needs if she got pregnent and bore a child or two, she won't be able to go to work if she is working at the moment, and then she is going to get lumped with a child tp look after for the next 10 or so years. Apart from seeing you as a good looking guy with lots of commonality, she would also be looking at how you could affoard to keep her and her child and pay mortgage/rent, food and utility bills, and still take her out each week and go on holidays, have a nice car for yourself and one for her, pay for her car insurance! and stop spending so much time fixing your old banger as she needs to sit and cuddle with you instead!! Oh and don't forget the child's need, he or she would be quite demanding for care, affection, are you ready for this.
