They are actually 'teaching' unbelievably hard mathematics in C++ in university nowadays. The first maths tutor I hired couldn't help me out, and then a cambridge educated maths/physics tutor couldn't even help me out. It was rotational matrices, quarternions, etc.

If I am not mistaken, they do teach some students in science classes, particularly related to robotics, where students are taught to use small micro chips and are then taught to programme instructions to make it tick, such as electronic beetle, or even a small motorised car with sensors that finds obstruction and then navigates around it, these are small projects students are encouraged to build and learn how they develop the software to overcome shortfalls, however, weather this is a proper computer program learning or just as a science project or even as a hobby I am not sure on that.
