Have you contacted admin or a moderator mate? Drop Paul or Tathan a message, they're good lads (don't tell them I said that though) and could hopefully help out.
There's only one Andy Morrell, only one Andy Morrell. With a packet of sweets and a cheeky smile, Morell is a paedophile.
Paul is the man for this.
Disappointing that someone who is a trader on here would do this, but I'm sure he'll have his own side to put forward.
How did you pay for the items?
I'm louder than gods own revolver and twice as shiney.
buying off tinternet forums is getting so bad now, its better to either go and fetch the parts, or pay full whack as 9 times out of 10 youll get robbed by some thieving scumbag thats just tryiing to rip you off.

I've gave up buying from traders now, nothing against eccles, I'm just saying.
Seems like they're trying to make money and don't care if the item works or if its damaged etc and 9 out 10 times they don't even know their self cos they've never used it.
Only buy from private sellers on forums!
I didn't follow the rules and got done, my fault, so if I buy from someone on here in future I will be more careful.

to be fair, I also got ripped off by eccles for a crank sensor, I bought it months ago and still have not heard nothing from him. I hate it that people do it but it's a risk you take when you think the person your talking to is genuine. I've been stung a couple of times but you can't poke everyone with the same stick so it's a risk you take.

paypal's toss for proper scammers, they set up account, take loads of money, empty account, paypal say "sorry"
He's on mk3oc, I've just contacted and got a reply about a fuel pump.![]()

And this guy's saying, "Whaddya want from me?"
I've been ripped off on this forum by Calibra_se8 aka Paul aka Moray Car Parts in Elgin, Scotland. To his advantage, the mods closed the threads that had in the for sale section. He is continuing to rip people off as I had contact from someone on another forum where he's done the same thing. He still browses this forum but as I cannot post further in his threads, he (and other people getting conned by him) have no reminder of the crook that he is.
He is the exception though, as I've bought lots of stuff from many different people here without any issues. Good communication is the key. And Paypal was of no help. The scammers know how to use it to their advantage.
calibra_se8 is gagged and he has been since you told kev a year ago, so he isnt doing any dealing or posting on mig. unfortunatly we dont have any control or swing over what people do on other forums so cant ban him from posting everywhere on the net.

What he said. Scammers operate everywhere sadly and all you can do is to 'investigate' people as best as you can BEFORE you deal with them. I personally absolutely fuc king hate scammers.
Maybe ask about to see if people not only have dealt with the person you're interested in buying from but also if they know their confirmed address before dealing with them? Another thing worth looking at is the amount of posts/start date the user in questions has made. O.k, it's no guarantee but if someone has been a member/user of a forum for years with loads of posts they're (usually) far less likely to turn you over as word gets around.
Wkd Astravan: Please don't assume everyone on here is a scammer because honestly it's not the case. However if you stick to the principle that anyone you don't know personally off the net is out to rob you blind then (as daft as it sounds) you can't go too far wrong.
I'd just add that Corsa Sport have an excellent set up for scammers whereby they get a notice next to their username/avatar saying 'DO NOT TRADE' and there's also a section visibile to all about dodgy traders.
