indeed MSG, as vicky said in the original post it's dead. Nerves are usually controlled by electrical potential from flow of ions in and out of cells, the sodium ions in the salt (soy sauce) do the same thing. Still obviously enough ATP or whatever to make it work.

agree with you MSG, some human people are just plain evil killing animals slowly and torturing them, I saw this video once of this guy in a foreign country had a cage full of these furry animals (Can't remember what they where called) one cage had the fluffy ones in and then he'd pull one out, cut it and skin it alive and toss it into a bucket full of others and they all just lay there wiggling in pain and he had no care in the world for any of them was just money for the skin. Makes me sick!
