Sponsorship Appeal
My younger daughter Sarah is participating in an event at the end of July 2010 for two weeks for an organisation called World Challenge. Their website is at World Challenge - educational expeditions and adventure travel for schools
Sarah, along with 8 other students from her school, Copthall School in Mill Hill, are currently preparing to take part in a 2-week educational expedition to Morocco which will involve a challenging 14 day trek and working with the local community in some kind of school project (details to be finalised).
This is not an average school trip and is certainly not a holiday. It is a challenging expedition that will significantly benefit the local community in Morocco and will teach the team valuable life skills such as leadership, communication and teamworking.
It will be the first time that Sarah has ever done anything like this and it is something she really wants to do even though she's only 16.
In order to participate in this challenging event, she will need to raise £1,200 by June 2010 and is therefore looking for sponsors to donate to this cause.
THERE IS STILL £700 TO RAISE and time is running out! Deadline 25 of May 2010!
