i looked at your thread,why did you laquer the wheels,base colours don`t need laquered,don`t say you laquered for a shine as flattening and polishing them would have came up better.

and a chav car is something from the halfords car park,i think the wee corsa looks alright.

I'd put copper slip on the threads of the coilovers before than seize up tight.

Specks, when you say base colour do you might direct gloss? Or was it rattle can?

rattle or out of a spray gun,never used a laquer on any solid colour,only metallics,pearls etc and always come out perfect.

i was meaning if he used a laquer to make it shiny then he did it wrong,no flattening between coats etc as it looks a fair bit rough.

You can lacquer over the top of a direct gloss tho. I always lacquer over rattle can paint too.

Shouldn't flat between paint and lacquer. Lacquer wont really feel the scratches.

Lacquer also helps to proteced the paint from stone chips. Better than just paint anyway

Get some nicer vauxhall wheels and it'll look a LOT nicer. Black wheels are soooo yesterday and never looked good anyway and Cav slabs....eeeooow. Only really suit stock Cavalier GSis.

Swap your tyres over, get some replacement centre caps and these will give it a much nicer more slick look. Just DO NOT paint them black!!....and ditch the nurburgring sticker! You haven't even been!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
