still copies, which is half the reason why the cost of genuine chips will never go down as long as copied chips are being bought. and when it all goes pop, whos going to foot the bill? cheaper/safer/better peace of mind in the long run to by the real deal.

also, where on mig did you buy them? link to thread please?

because we as staff of mig dont want copied chips to be sold on mig for this excat reason. you've spent £100 on chips that do nothing. what if they had had the opposite effect and you'd run on them and cooked your engine? your quick enough to moan now that they do fook all so god knows what you'd be like if that had happened.

Well from what i have read on this site many people are using them with no problem what so ever, If i had run them and i had melted the engine then that would have been my fault as i knew the risks. As for paying £100 and them doing nothing then thats a little upsetting dont you think.

Why waste your time writing this post, its neither constructive or helpful and here is the advert on Mig as a visitor message, I was under the impression Staff were there to help, I'm not suprised people have started using other more helpful forums

yes i do and would be gutted if i had spent £100 on something that did nowt. Thats half the reason why we dont let people sell them on mig as your not the first to have bought duds.

if this was a thread where the user had bought genuine off the boards, i would have moved it to the helpdesk, gagged the seller and advised on how to contact the member or assist them with how to get a refund. but as its all done off the boards, with stuff that shouldnt be sold on the site, theres not much i can do.

I dont expect anyone to do anything mate, thats all i wanted to know is if anyone else had experienced the same problem i am having. As far as im concerned i think i have been tucked and lost my £100 but i might be wrong and thats why i asked for other peoples experiences. Well i have learned a valuable lesson here anyway

    Re: evo 5 chips

There were very few originals that were sold. I got some that were suspect from the UK dealer at the time (2004), I knew they were fakes, a quick call to VmaX in Germany ensured that I had the real ones sent to me.

They worked very well with 440cc injectors.. I loved my LET setup, simple but strong, pulling over 330bhp and 330ft/lb (not bad for (2002/2003), never missed a beat.. and is still running well 8 years later in another MIG members car.

If the sale of copied chips is not aloud on this site then, can you tell me how he is aloud to advertise plainly on his visitor page, surly there is something that can be done to stop someone else losing there money
