    haha! "Menage-a-un".
My mate (not me) said he got in pissed and was wanking for about 4 hours. He woke up in the morning and he said the end of his knob looked like 'a tyre'.

I only started noticing the weight falling off after a month. I am pleased to say my man-breasts are disappearing like a distant memory.

    Re: Losing a beer belly

Found an old picture of me (about two years ago) displaying my blubber as an incentive to lose weight. Jesus, I hid all that well. I look at that and look at now and it's completely different.
I've cut right down on eating this week with exercise on top of it. Felt literally close to death tonight so had a piece of toast and a tin of peeled tomatoes.
I haven't weighed myself in two or three months, I think I'm losing it quite quickly.

I thought 4 hours was impressive but wanking for a month!?!

Another option to losing a beer gut is to not drink but it means you do stupid things like get up at 7:30 on a Sunday. I swear I read that your metabolism deals with breaking down the alcohol before it deals with the food? I'm sure Ed or someone can clarify and put it in better terms.

Spicy foods like chilli peppers increase your metabolism by all accounts?

A dose of Cholera should see the gut disappear very quickly. If combined with spicy foods like Naga chillis then get one of those mini fridges, place it in the bathroom and fill it with toilet rolls...
You only have to do a very few things right in your life so long as you don't do too many things wrong.

    Re: Losing a beer belly

A whole month of furious self abuse! lmao

I actually joined a gym on Friday, and have clocked up 13 hours already. Doing over 10 miles running, on top of 10,000m rowing and the rest cycling/cardio and about an hour of weight training.
Also managed to weigh myself - I was 14 stone in July and I'm now just over 11 stone. I didn't see any advantages at the time but selling my car and going by bike/foot has no doubt done me well.

Headphones fell out of ears on the final stroke on rowing machine, the seat rolled over the wire, coiled them round the roller and just destroyed them - fourth pair in two months ffs.

IMHO you'll get 99% of everything you need from good honest real food. Once you start getting serious and you are training for a specific sport or about to get up on stage, then yeah sure, spend £40 on a tub of powder, but for a gym newbie who wants to "lose their slightly flabby gut and bitch tits" it would be a waste of money.
Well said, the reason I was so reluctant to join a gym was because of the 'You're not doing it right' type. I know people who have never touched that snake oil powdered ****e and do it as a profession.

I put on about a stone in last 12 months (just under 12 stone now) but in our swanky new offices we are not allowed to eat at our desks so I have dropped about 4lb already, there is only so much food you can cram into a 10 minute break.

    No gym punishment is needed.

Exactly. It's a simple equation, you will lose weight if: calories burnt > calories consumed. So either do more exercise and/or eat less.

It's so simple, yet so many obese people seem unable to phathom it. I think it's called greed/laziness.

    Re: Losing a beer belly

****ing hell, never realised I was so frigging FAT. How the frig did I end up like this? I apologise for the horrific photo, and didn't want to post it, but f*ck it, I'm not fat anymore. I looked pregnant, FFS!!!
This is proper hang out, relaxed 'I don't care' gut (about four months ago):

    Me about 10 minutes ago:

Excuse the whiteness, I haven't had my top off for while, lol. It doesn't just sit on your gut, the flab covers your whole body, you notice everything changes when you lose it. I didn't notice anything for a month, but then it really started to come off. I didn't realise how much I'd lost (or how FAT I was!) until I compared these pics.
I've got a couple of weeks to go before I hit muscle underneath and have started weight training again.
Pure dedication every night and not eating ****e at all for a few months and it paid off, thankfully.

    Re: Losing a beer belly

Thanks! Still keeping to running every night and gym five mornings out of the week. I'm eating really well, on Sunday I have something really 'indulgent' like two biscuits, lol.
All fat is gone now, and getting tone-age to the once flabby shed of a body. I'm 10 1/2 stone, which is slightly underweight (never thought I'd ever say that), but is slowly creeping back up again which must be muscle building up.
Found out I have twice the energy in the morning, so sacked off the 6pm thing and go when it opens - there's also less of the anus element with the massive bicep brigade doing 5 reps of bench presses.
I'm proof of losing weight to anyone in a short space of time, with just determination and hard work. Forget all this P90X crap, my mate saw the evidence and was inspired and has since lost a 13lbs in over a month.

    Re: Losing a beer belly

Nice 1 mate. Brave of you to put the pics up so well done for that too. If I ever get chance I might do similar but only over a month. I'm just over 16 stone now, not in bad shape at all really, but there's about a stone of fat id like to trim off! I'm an ex army boxer and know how to eat properly and train for fitness and strength so IF I ever get round to it i shall post pics of diet and training program for all to see and use.
Your pics and story are quite inspirational mate so again I'll say well done to you : )

    Yep me too.

And now I rage at fat people on TV whining about how they've tried everything yet can't lose it. Lying bastards
