McLaren have spent a lot of time testing 2010 regulations recently. Ive seen it pointed out that they wouldnt be doing this if they had critical problems to get over which is a fair point. Kovalinen was bottom of the testing yesterday though....

My only hope this season is that the stewards can be consistent. Nearly gifting Massa the world championship last year was ridiculous.
I'm not saying that from a pro hamilton point of view but there were a lot of inconsistencies last year that nearly handed the championship to someone who is only really mid class in the current field.
i think thats harsh on massa, he showed himself to be the real deal last year imo, people all to easily forget the last lap engine blow up in hungary, and he was faster than kimi pretty much all year

he got gifted so many points elsewhere though.
I just don't see him being in the run for the world championship again. Raikonnen had a very off season but i reckon he'll be back with a vengeance this season.
I actually like massa. he's a genuine driver. Good personality. Puts in the hours where raikonnen turns up,drives, goes home. Unfortunately he just lacks that bit of raw talent that raikonnen has.
car dependant i think the contenders should be Hamilton, Raikonnen,Alonso,Kubica and Vettel.
I'm hoping for a very close year technology wise so we get to see talent shine rather than machinery.
i am too, but i somehow doubt it, with so many reg changes someone is bound to get it horribly wrong, and someone brilliantly right, and if someone gets their KERS working really well, it could be a massive advantage over a lap, i also think alot will depend on the tyres and how the teams get them working
agree that kimi will be back to his best this year though, and that may be that for massa if alonso becomes available and kimi wants to stay next year

I predict the top bunch will be:
Kimi, Alonso, Kubica, Massa with occasionally Trulli.
Midfield will be:
Hamilton, Vettel, Webber, Button, Rubens, Hekki, Heidfeld, Fisi on occasion and other toyota
At the back will be:
Williams, Other renault, STR, other force india.
lmao you really don't like hamilton do you rick.
I would think any team with slow times who havent been sandbagging are not going to be in the front group ricklmaolmaolmao
I wont be making any predictions, its pointless with the rule changes and so on. Im actually as excited to see F1 back on the beeb as I am to see how the reg changes shake things up. Cant wait for 7am on the 29th!
Still time for them to change to a 12-9-6-5-4-3-2-1 points system too![]()

Yeah its the great unknown up until that first race and its not deliberate sandbagging. It's just having kovi in the car lmao
I'm predicting Red Bull to be dark horses this year. Adrian Newey's design is very different and if it works and with vettel driving it it may cause a few upsets.
