The only problem is that the Mr Fusion conversion got damaged and i have no electricity to power my boil circuit to get up to 88 degrees so i am stuck here! I have no option but to bury myself on some waste ground which in 2009 will be the site of the Gapton Hall Industrial Estate branch of Comet. I enclose a map with instructions of how to find me!! When you have found me you are to dismantle me....do not send me to 1855 as this may cause a temperal disruption in the time continum and destroy Yarmouth as we know it...it may even take in Lowestoft!!

Wow!! that requires a very intricate planning, we can't affoard to get Yarmouth destroyed, or Lowestoft, so mike261263 you have to wait until the kettle sends you that secret location map. Until then we must not allow the fusion reaction to go out of control, and we will have to keep an eye on it 24Hrs, because there is a danger that it may uproot the kettle from that disused landfill at the Comet site and send it back ti 18th century and we are going to be distructed.lmao

How are you going to figure which kettle is yours with all the kettles to be found in a branch of Comet?

I fear Tea will no longer be the drink of choice for you my man.

That will be quite easy Mark, it will be a kettle that is feling dizzy by having gone in a time travel loop back & forth as per Mike261263's post, so we should be able to identify the nakkered kettle amongst all the fit ones!!lmao

I think that the Mr Fusion home nuclear reactor will give it away..........unless, of course, all new kettles come with one fitted

BTW I am writing this from an internet cafe as my home connection has a problem and at first I thought it was a problem with my computer, so I started to muck about with its internet connection settings and thought perhaps I buggered it up more, then I used my old computer which connects via the cabel and even that failed to get a connecti9on. I have checked all my connections and they arte OK, I fink its a problem with AOL, but through this internet cafe I can get on to AOL and check my emails.

So you guys won't see me that often for a few days until someone sorts my connection problem

I am back on line. thanks to the expertice of a call centre AOL help line personnel. The guy managed to run me through the settings and my God I wouldn't have been able to have it done myself, took about 25minutes, my computer was indeed in a real mess with its connection settings!!!

Oh! you going to Edinbourgh Festival, Ok we will keep an eye for the time travel kettle, and we are keeping the time portal open, what about the intense gravity field around here down in the south where we have lead mines, lead is heavy element hence stronger gravgity. It appears to distort and warp the bloody space around it!! Jesus its bending.

you will need to seam weld the chassis mate. The extra power in the element can lead to cracked and split joins in the kettle.

seam in stitch? don't want too much stiffness for in the hard water areas, especially on a top boil run.

Brita filtered water will help for extra quick top boil power.

    Do powerlids really add 10watts?

    Re: group buy. Breville kettle

I read in "PK" (performance kettle mag, for people that didn't know) powerlids if set up properly can add an extra 15w!!! smoother boil curve and extra boil off the line. well worth it imo just a bit pricey.

    Re: group buy. Breville kettle

15w? WTF? Everyone knows the most important figure is the 0-100° time, nothing else matters. Powerlid? Smooth boil curve? I have a smoother boil on my arse. Fill it up, switch it on, bring it to the boil as quickly as possible, thats it, Tefal instant boilers are the way forward, what is with this Breville nonsense, they should stick to toasters.
