I was going to add, Axl owns the rights to the band name, he's been off his nutt for years, unless all the old band members got back together with him aswell, I can't see anything decent coming of it. Even before they split properly, Axl had some power trip about making 25 minute ballads with multi-million dollar video's. About as un-rock n roll as you can get.
GnR were over years ago. Best to remember them as they were tbh.

gnr were booed to the point they stopped playing when i seen them at the download festival they seemed **** tbh. they hype themselves a lot tho "most anticipated album EVER?!"

he should have just used a different name, but then it wouldnt have got anywhere i suppose, velvet revolvers' first album was great, second wasnt so good, shame really, i would pay to see the original guns line up back together for sure, appetite is still one of the best albums ever

I thought it was a bit naff at first - other than IRS and Shacklers revenge. But its really grown on me.
It feels like an illusion album, but better.
The leaked version of Chinese democracy (the single) sounded better than the one on the album. The one on the album feels too over produced, theres just too much stuff going on. | |

Been waiting years for this and i think it's gr8. He is a tool as a guy but he knows music and how to make good songs. I like it because it's different, each album G N' R has brought out has been, whether it's for better or worse. In the case of "The Spaghetti Incident" it was worse! Still waiting on my copy coming through the post but can see it being in my cd player for a long time. I'm not holding my breath but, there is supposed to be two more albums to follow for release in 2010 and 2012. Would explain the 15 years a bit better! | |
