Could u please provide me a link to the information u are quoting.

As for the sentence no-one was charged with Baby P's murder. Under the circumstances a 14 year term was about the maximum a judge could give. Other charges which can carry a far greater sentence may still be raised, that is why the orders are in place, and to prevent other members of the family being stigmatised by association.

And when your a UK citizen you can kick the legal system in the ass. Until then you will have to grin and bear it.

I expect justice Trevor, whether I am a citizen of the UK or not, which is besides the point. The legal system is flawed and the people who work within it treat it more like a game of chess than a means by which the public can get some measure of justice when they or their fellow human beings are wronged. I have little respect for an establishment that values keeping face above seeking out the truth and punishing those who have broken the laws of the land.

Oh and I will do whatever I please mister, UK citizen or not.

What Don't You Understand, Your Not Going To Get A Link To More Details, It Is Against The Law.

Re: Baby P parents

It is called Sub-judicy, it basically is a very strict set of laws that mean if you publish or pass any information that may prejudice a fair trial then your going to go to jail.

So whilst the information on the death may have been reported at the time if it had been public knowledge, any specific details would not have been if a prosecution was likely.

Re: Baby P parents

Not the UK, but here is an example:

http://www.abc.net.au/pm/content/2008/s2292679.htm

Quote:
In Queensland, the freeing of a convicted paedophile has sparked outrage, complete with a newspaper headline screaming "Dob in this Monster".

A Brisbane judge has dismissed a new case against Dennis Ferguson, partly on the grounds that his notoriety would prevent him from getting a fair trial.

Ferguson was facing two charges of having molested a little girl in 2005.

The 60-year-old had previously spent 14 years in jail for the kidnapping and sexual assault of three children.

He was hounded after release from that jail term, and today the Queensland Government and police are warning against vigilantism.

Experts are blaming the media and the court system for the abandoned case, and say it could set a precedent for others, such as that of Doctor Jayant Patel.

Re: Baby P parents

Glad that you are ending your argument with Trevor, you have both made relavent points, we are all angry as to what happned to Baby P, and as Trveor said the law has to deal with this and he explained why, and some of your questions you asked him were already answered in that link in the first post.

We are all angry how Baby P was let down by the Harringay authorities, we are all angry, personally i don't think Trevor was any more angrier than you were, so let us keep this open and allow others to contribute their feelings for baby P.and any anger against all those who let him down.
