vxopel down?

I'm trying to register on vxopel but it keeps giving me this message:

Is anyone a member off here that can make it known there is a problem, and is anyone else having a problem registering?

robbie the moderator will vet your application and approve it as there is a lot of spam etc, you will get an e-mail once your approved

I cant get that far, I fill in my username, email, password...etc then i click on submit and it comes up with that SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ] error?

Maybe if you try and reg a dummy account lepo, to see if you get the same problem?

Life outside the net: Well wayne, considering it's the web admins job to make sure the forum works and it's the board admins job to maintain it... but i'm not really that bothered, but it has been two days now. And as for a life.... 14 posts a day for nearly 4 years... impressive(ish).

Why am I arsed: Because they have a knowledge base that i'm interested in tapping into, it's a niche group of people who are into the RWD vauxhall/opel scene and there is no facility on this forum to directly cater for it.

Aids and die: Well I hope they don't get aids, well maybe the web admin.... jk!

Its just an Irish subgroup of the manta club which is quite handy if your in Ireland and looking for parts.
Oddly enough there are quite a few owners over here. Its sort of like the regional sections on here.

Its gaining users now because the manta club site is filled with w***ers who are only interrested in talking about how great their own cars are and how everyone else is below them.

You sound like an expert in the Mantaclub, can you link me to any topics where anyone is talking about how much better than anyone elses car theirs is ?

If not then please tell me how you got to form the opinion that led to the statement above, As admin of the OMOC Manta site I am quite keen to find out where this "filled with W****rs idea is from. I have been on there years from normal user to Admin and apart from the odd falling out and inevitable keyboard warriering its a good site with lots of tech help available.

The VXOPEL site is run by a good friend of mine and caters for the Irish side of things, and is very popular by all accounts, with a big show scene that now gets the publicity it deserves. I am Linking the site owner to this topic. I am sure he will be commenting later.

My appoligies for vxopel being down, there have been 2 problems this week, firstly I updated the forum software all seemed ok but the arcade caused a conflict when registering, this was sorted and the latest release of the arcade then installed which caused another problem today.
It has taken a lot of time this week to do the updates and get everything going glitch free. fingers crossed its running fine now.

If anyone has a problem just mail me at robbie@mantamagic.com and I will do my best to sort any issue promptly.

VXopel is there for all RWD vxopels dont matter where anyone is from everyone is welcome

If your an admin and you cant see the effect on the club/forum that the constant arguments and nasty comments about other peoples cars from a lot of the long standing members then im sorry but your blind.

I left it quite some time ago for that reason and im hugely far from the only one who has done so.
There are a large number of idiot begrudging w***ers in the club who need to be kicked in line. A club should encourage new members to join in and get active in events etc.
Yours doesn't simple as, it’s just a giant old boys club.

I dont care if you can see the problems or not or if they are sorted.
I was a member who left because of this but im sure if you ask your old boys they tell you everything is fine so really there is no need to worry is there.

But oh well that’s just my opinion so take it or leave it.

VXOpel on the other hand seems not to have the same trouble and i personally find it a great resource and community. Although i haven't been in the RWD thing in a few years i still use it from time to time. So thanks to Robbie and the team for a job bloody well done
