| Job Interview Questions..... What sorts of questions, if any, are off limits in a job interview?
How do say you respectfully decline to answer those questions without jeopardizing your chances of landing the job being offered?

| Re: Job Interview Questions..... It depends on the job.
For example if your applying to be a PA then the boss asking if you take it up the arse is right off limits, but if you were looking for a job in porn films then it is a valid question.

If someone was totally inappropriate at interview would you want to work there?
Oh and @ Trevor

It's a hard question this as you don't want to feck it up for yourself getting the job. I think the worst question I keep getting asked at interviews (well the last two) is "Are you willing to break the rules to get the job done??"
I mean for funks sake what kind of question is that! If you say yes you might not get it as your "reckless"
If you say no are you considered to be the sort who's looking for an excuse to fail?
All depends on the question I suppose as Trevor so eloquently pointed out..

Interviewer: Is there anyone or type of people you have difficulty speaking to?
Me: Anyone who doesn't speak English........... (Twat, what a stupid question.).... (...) - My inside voice. |

All depends on the question I suppose as Trevor so eloquently pointed out.. | Good point although this could be a possible answer "no Sir I am not. Breaking the rules could lead to the company, you and me getting into trouble. I am not willing to jeapordise the companies, yours or my future to have someting done faster. If we are talking about breaking rules by, for example, not signing out the keys for the stationary room to get a pen and sign off something then in my mind that is acceptable"
Take the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act for example. One company were fined $11M criminal fine, $10M Civil fine plus $23M Disgorgement all for "getting the job done" in West Africa. |

I know the difference between an applicable, relevent question to the job being offered and an innappropriate question. I was just wondering if anyone else has a way of dealing with a question they believe is offlimits without jeopardizing their chances. |

| Re: Job Interview Questions..... Just say what you think is right and is truthful in some cases the gaffer might employ you on the basis that you've got a set of balls (metaphorically speaking) to answer such a question in the first place.
