| Paypal holding payments Sold some HT leads a week ago, the buyer paid by Paypal but when I checked it said "on hold, post now"...I checked why and gave a load of bull**** about combating fraud?! I've never had a problem before and had no disputes so no idea why it's been held other than to make a bit more money from interest with my money froze in paypal's account....probably with a load of other peoples
It says funds are released once positive feedback is received OR 21 days without a dispute have passed. I've been left positive feedback from the buyer but they still have cleared it
anyone else had this? I need to get some bits for the car but can't afford it and there's no way i'm transferring cash from my bank to the robbing fookers! |

| Re: Paypal holding payments Yup I had this, it is supposed to clear 24 hours after positive feedback is left.
Wait till then and then raise an issue with them, I had to raise 2 in order to get mine cleared.
And it took about 4 days.
If it was 20 quid i would not have minded but it was a lot more.

I'd love Paypal to be foolproof, because its convenient, but alas, theres too many downsides to it.

| Re: Paypal holding payments Likewise. Ebay do the same by cancelling your auction, but allowing you to relist the goods, obviously they still charge you the initial listing fee however (genius)!

Tossers! | I think they see that as make an offer outside of eBay.
