    show us your bike

as the other thread about bikes got so much input thought i would start up a thread about bikes

ive only got these pics of my downhill rig its all quite old stuff on it but was top of the range at the time

Club roost DH8 frame (8 inch travel)
Marazoochi junior T's (8 inch travel
Hope bigun hubs with mavic d321 wheels(not 100% this is right)
    gazalodi 2.6 tyres
Hope mono m4 disc brakes (need replacing)
Shimano LX rear gears and shifter
    DMR chain device
    V8 pedals

has probably cost me about £1500 but luckily my mate owns a bike shop so im all good for repairs and spares

    everyone get some pics up

Willy B, your GIANT is nice.

I'll try & snap my XC bike if I can dig it out from under a pile of car parts. Its a custom one-off steel hardtail, no front suspension either.

Probably no ones cup of tea, but its the kinda bike I raced & trained on way back in 1990 MTB era. Light as feck & next to nothing to go wrong.

LOL @ everyones 'getting on a bit' bikes. Mines a 1996 Diamond Back Ascent Ex. No pics but its been my faithful beast for over a decade. No suspension, dont really need it for the type of riding I do TBH. I value my life lmao Just taking it apart at the mo as it finally needs a new bottom bracket and headset. Love riding it hard on the trails though

Well into my old school bikes here. My XTR V-brakes are about as techy as I've got. Just fitted a pair of Mavic 230 rims & Red HOPE Ti glide wheels. Air-B latex tubes & want some Z-max WCS ritchey treads aswell.

    Cantilevers!

I worked for a tandem & touring specialist. It was all old school bits for years. I'm stuck in my youth & refuse to go with all the freeriding or trials nonsense (sorry).

I'll get pics of my bike, but its a XC whippet. Rigid.
