My Scott Scale 60 with Formula Extreme 205 and 185mm discs fitted as it was cheaper to get a 60 and upgrade it to better than a 50 for less cash lol

Sweet! Me and one of my mates went trials riding one afternoon/evening with Martin Ashton and Martin Hawes after they did a trials demo at a local bike shop and took an interest in mine and my mates trials riding, was soooo much fun! After growing up worshipping them 2, to have them ask you to go riding with them and get to get to show them round your fav local riding spots was so cool!

Prefer old skool design . Can't stand the front suspension either , as when you try to pull a jump you usually just end up with the front suspension taking all of your .. pull down and lift up type movement when trying to pull a jump

Used to build custom Kona bikes as a mtb'ing teenager .
Only just got another bike a year or so ago after about 8 - 9 years off the saddle .

    This is my bike :

Here is me doing some very tame steps ( one thing that does make front suspension needed )

Yay, my cheap and nasty eBay speedo (BikeMATE MCP 30102) arrived today, should make the ride home a little more fun.

Seems like jump bikes are the norm but do they get used, they all look ££££. Swapped my road wheels for mavics yesterday fancied some trails
but the tyres rub the brakes Just have to get another bike instead

I wouldn't say jump bikes are the norm, what i have seen most of in this thread is XTC/DH bikes...obviously a certain amount of jumping required but not Jump Bikes at all..

What type of brakes do you have?

I mean more small frames including the other thread about bikes to. It has the standard v-brakes it came with just the front tyres a good 60 something mm.
I road it to the shops with no front brake just felt so wrong having ridden with road tires for so long lmao

Maybe that your pads need adjusting, or they could be shot! If so just get a new set, about £3 for standard Vbrake pads

Anyway tis summer (althouh would guess it from weather) a good fast rolling tyre is what you need Fitted some michelin tyres the other day, god there fast, but had to take them off yesterday, as it was raining lmao
