My new front bumper, what do ya all tink?

Front bumper is finished. As seen at the Cental MIG meet and Bournmouth cruise yesterday.

What do you think of my latest creation?

    No longer The Pheonix
Is the bonnet supposed to be red or is it just waiting for a coat of the white stuff

Looks good though other than that. Big smile stylee

Same here. It does just look like someones cut a lump out and left it at that. Maybe some mesh will make it look better?

Just a personal thought, so no need for anyone to get all defensive. (after all, you did ask)
I agree in the thinking that it look like work in progress, needs something more to finish it, maybe mesh will help.
Also, number plate! looks very out of place, i think you need a smaller one to the side, either square or oblong.

I can see the idea and the ideas good but I think if it was meshed it would make a big differance, and as has been said the number plate requires something doing with it (perhaps use small motorbike plate style letters and cut the plate right down.
Couldn't think of anything good to put in here.

would look a lot better if you moulded a proper intake to the rad, a bit of fibreglass would do it - perhaps spray the rad silver or buy a brand new one.

btw, i have some of the paint from my Nova spare, if you want your bonnet spraying up, bring it down to me and i'll do it for £35

    Does anyone still remember me?

I thought you guys would have gathered that the car is 'work on progress' from the red bonnet!

I had only finished installing the bumper a few hours before!!

Mesh is going on soon, also the number plate was a quick fix.

It will be ready for billing I PROMISE!!!

The bumper itself is finished (i.e its been shaped, smoothed and painted). The mesh isn't gunna sit on the bumper, its gunna be attached to the vallace just because of the way the bumper is shaped and the angle of the radiator.

Freak >> Yes m8, this is that GSi bumper I purchased off you for not a lot of cash. Was an easy repair.

Lee >> Its a second radiator that has been plumbed in series with the first.

I did a little messing around on PSP7, here is what it should look like at billing.

Apart from I will have done another number plate and there will be some louvres in the bonnet.

It has made loads of difference, the car feels like its got more power.

Two other passengers have said it feels more powerful.

I am going to be wraping my exhaust before it goes on. Hopfully this will help keep it cooler.
How do you fancy going out on the track at the same time as me to see how they compare
