    Hi Scary

I know how you feel although my stalker is quite recent and alot more harmless. Mine just rings me two minutes after I walk in my house and makes out he is calling to see how I am and then asks if anyone is with me when he damn well knows the answer, lol!

My brother had all withheld numbers barred to his landline following nasty phone calls from a lad a few years back. He had the lads actual phone number barred too. When my Mum found out she went round to this lad's Mum's house (knew each other) and told the lad's Mum "your son is threatening mine etc". The lad's Mum was mortified as she thought my Brother was mint so she gave her (grown-up) Son a b*ll*cking and it all stopped, Mothers certainly know how to sort stuff, lol!

Do you think you could shame him by talking to his family? That may stop it.

Plus, please don't waste a decent drink, package it up and post it to me! Hope you get it sorted. I would tell your Boyfriend too. Just be honest and say a guy you used to go out with has come back on the scene and is pestering you and it is doing your head in. Say you are just telling him incase he wonders whats up with you not cus you want him to do anything about it

Wow didn't realise this went on so much - Cheers hun.

Have reconsidered the merlot throwing - will order a wine and a blackcurrent - similar effect without wine wastage

I woke up on my rug a few weeks ago in my living room (in the fetal position after a bender) to find him standing over me. I had just a pair of shorts on and a little vest type thing that I sleep in. I had (in my drunkeness) left the back door open so my cat could do her thing for half an hour before bed. I had then promptly fell asleep in front of the tv. He said he saw my back door open and no lights on and thought I had gone to bed drunk and forgot about the door. He tried to ring and knock on the front door but no joy so he climbed the wall to my garden and came in to find me asleep.

At the time I thought, I am glad someone looks out for me. Everyone I have told since say "arrrghhh! stalker!" I think he was just looking out for me but it made me realise the position I had stupidly put myself in, say if he had been a nutcase? At least it was him and not some mad man. However, since then he just rings and texts alot. He is seeing someone aswell. I went for a meal the other week, he text and asked what I was up to so I told him I was off out for a meal. Within two minutes of me getting back that night he text asking if I enjoyed my meal!

With your case though, its a bit extreme as it was 8 years ago. I only had two dates with my stalker then ended it. Good news is that mine is moving soon cus his landlord is selling his house, I just hope he moves out of my area!

Blackcurrant sounds good but don't get thrown out of a decent pub. Wait till you see him in a crap one! What a bad situation be in, luckily for me, my stalker doesn't go to my local cus he doesn't know people there, he goes to another where he knows everyone so my nights in the local can't be ruined by him.

I would ring the police and ask for some advice. They usually go and have a word with the person and then, if he persists they can take further measures (injunction etc). Good luck

    Sound advice

Have a word with a solicitor and see what they say - he might get the hint if he receives a letter to say the next step is a restraining order to prevent any further contact.

Good for you. Mind, we'll keep nagging you in case you weaken
