    Angry National ID cards!

I personally think they are a really bad idea. It think they will seriously compromise our personal security, via identity theft. I also think that it is just another way for the government to control us, whatch our every move and keep tabs on our daily lives. I'm sure they wont stop there either........

This site has a petition against them...

I dont support the Lib Dems as a party btw, I just strongly object to Id Cards, and yes the Lords have 'compromised' with the government, which led me to the above site. They have sold us out

Gotta agree with a column in one of the newspapers. The next election ballot paper should have a box at the bottom with 'NONE OF THE ABOVE' written next to it.

This is one of my current 'pet hates' !!

For those of us with driving licences,we've already got I.D. haven't we !!

I heard that we'll have to pay around £38 for one......fook that,if they want me to have one, then THEY can bloody well pay for it !!

Same thing for HGV drivers, with the new digital tachographs.....you're supposed to buy a 'digi card' to record your hours of work. Again, another £38....... All this sh*te is coming from Europe !! Does my right in....

Normal people are everywhere it's just that you are being controlled by them in whitehall/downing st etc. You are not alone in how you feel. Its the minority that are wrong, just that them in power are not listening to the majority i.e. YOU and ME and the rest of the country

I'd have no objection if they replaced the overly expensive Passport but whats wrong with using a Passport for ID ?

as dom said, passports (and driving licenses) have been ID for years now. and if some middle eastern religion woman can get away with wearing her black gear for a photocard DL then the whole point of ID cards etc is out of the window!!

Ive added a couple of times to the bottom of my ballot slip with "None of them, but voiced my right to vote, thanks"

who is the company behind the cards? what's the link with the cabinet?

as with everything, it's only a matter of time before the loophole is found, someone hacks the database, or can edit data in the cards or whatever

i 100% believe this is a backhanded way of monitoring the entire population, and these cards will take on additional 'duties' as time goes by

as with the anpr numberplate system, it just collects data and stores it, so your mway movements are logged

we'll end up swiping these cards to get into banks/businesses etc, our entry and exit will be logged for future reference

    truly bad bad news

i'm hoping labour really come up stinking of sheeite with this loans/donations/peership thing, if the cons are smelly too then so be it, there's no difference between them, but another labour term will have us all wearing chips in our necks like cats and dogs

I'm right there with you, soon we all just be numbers with chips or barcodes on us. With no freedom whatsoever.

110% behind I.D cards if it puts a end to refugees and Asylum seekers.
