This is a good tip and not a silly one, if your house doors won't shut softly but have to be slammed or forced due to the door striker or the spring loaded catch don't easily slide in against the door frame plate, rub a little ordinary white candle stick on both the striker plate and the spring loaded door catch, the candle wax works magic like grease but without the side effects of grease, as you could soiul your clothes if you accidently caught your shirt or jacket on the door catch/strike plate.

When removing calipers dont bother with the 7mm bolts, take the bracket off instead

I usually put the allen key in and smack the **** out of it with with a hammer lmao

Tip: while washing your car, if you drop the sponge rinse it before carrying on - gravel on sponge = not good!

Don't try and get them off, and go and get help via a 2 foot extension bar, and give it all and break the head off the bolt ... only to realise you've been trying to undo the bolt the wrong way due to it being on the opposite side.
I've done this once, had to drill each out, and nearly did it a couple of weeks ago, but stopped when I realised.
lol I though it was only me who had done that. Won't do it again though

I use an old HT lead to tie up the calipers to the spring.

My tip of the day is don't lose your rag while working on the car, you're GUARANTEED to break something no-one's got or hurt yourself real bad!! lmao

if you get the wrong offset alloys or alloys that are too wide don't pull the arches out with molegrips. my mate done this on his clio instead of sending the wheels back now he has 16v rear arches tho
