Unhappy The NI Section has pretty much died

No-one seems to post much anymore. Seems a pity after all the begging to get it set up. I know a few are using VauxhallIreland now (including myself) which is all good but even that isnt that busy.

Where are all the NI miggers and vauxhall fans?

When you think there's under 2 million people in NI, its no wonder a specialist vauxhall forum isnt going to be busy. I think its just something we need to live with tbh!

Fair point Keith. Still it would be nice if this was fairly active and had meets and stuff, though you're right about the population and the fact that as ineedspeed says everyone wants an 80 yeard old corolla or a TDi bora......

ineedspeed: Yeah cheers mate i changed the box in her at the weekend. Lot tighter than it was!! The front mount g/box gave out on her about 10 mins away from my mates house so had to nurse it up the road very slowly! When we finished workin on it last night and took it a test drive i noticed a strong smell of petrol........one of the petrol flexis had persihed and the petrol was flying out of it!!!! Bloody calibras. Im gonna fix any remaining wee niggly things on it then probably sell it. Shame after spending so much sorting it and it'll be perfect then but its breaking my wee heart lol.

Most people here just buy car's pre-modifed in england. I've not met anyone here whos dont a nova 16v conversion themselves yet, they are all done in england and brought across. So its really hard to find genuine enthusasts here.

t-tim44 yeah i've a driveshaft to chuck in mine but going to keep it for another while glad to hear you got your sorted. I see you were talking about building a 2.0 corsa i think for the hassle you may as well go to england and get a good nova, 2.0 corsas are not much faster than a astra gte 16v but 2.0 nova's are rapid

Keith there can't be too many let nova's in NI

Then when ive enough money some jap scrap. Would like to have a wee vx project like an xe or let nova to tinker with at home all the time though!!
