    Idea's / Events for 2004

Monthly Meets - If it aint broke dont fix it - While i think this is a great place it just seems to be getting to be the same old scenery ( not u guys lmao ) so maybe a new place for meets ?? Give me some ideas, you want more meets / less, or maybe a set day every month ( ie first sunday )

Different Events - OK we have the MIG events but they are all down south, so what about maybe a meet at Oulton Park
( maybe when Touring Cars are on ) or 3 sisters in Wigan ( they have all sorts of events )

What else ??? U tell me, im looking forward to the RR in November so maybe towards end of next year we can have another ?? If people wanna do something and there is enough interest then fire some ideas at me its your region

Do you ever do trackdays or have you any interest? I do quite a few and can get decent discounts if theres quite a few of us.

Winwick Quay is easy for me to get too, but Mascrat Manor on Jct 21 of the M6 is a good meeting place. Big car park, good food and other car groups meet there sometimes too. I can't do 1st Sundays though, but you'll probably say "who the hell is he, anway".

One idea we had for our meets (NW Lotus Owners Group) was that because we cover a large area we should have 3 or 4 different venues for our meets and rotate them. That way the same people aren't always travelling miles and miles and those that don't want to travel too far will always have one meet reasonably local. At present we do Macclesfield, Rochdale, Chester and Preston.

a few years back we went to a vauxhall day in stafford.....does anyone know if this still happens....i know it was run by performance vauxhall b4 but maybe we could run 1 of our own inviting other clubs as guests i like your idea for meeting once a month and sooty is right about moving locations ...3 sisters sounds good as there is adequate facilities ......how about a illumination meet in Blackpool when the lights are on......show the southerners we can do it better ......and bigger lol who needs under car lighting there lmao

Dare I ask what that is???

I don't like Blackpool much, but if it was something that was organised and a few were going, I'd make an effort and could possibly get us VIP entry at the Syndicate.

    I prefer Poulton !!

As I'm 33. the 60 yr olds in the Hub are as entertaining as the 15yrs olds that used to go in.

I was last there 2 weeks ago - I usually meet a load of mates in the Golden and then go across to the Bull and then spend the rest of the night in the Cube. It has a late licence now so its not worth going to the Residence.
