North west meet monday 30/08/2010 @ 8pm

Ok well the poll has been closed and it was a dead heat between monday and sunday,

so a idea has been decided to vary the day so in the winter months we will have it on a sunday so we are taking advantage of the daylight, and the summer months it will be on a monday evening, we will probably change this in-line with daylight savings but will see how we get on

this means our first meet will be:

MONDAY 30th AUGUST 2010 @ 8 PM

the meet location has been a hard choice but myself and kev have thrown some ideas around and have picked this location on a trial basis, as it is close to motorway links, and fairly central but 26 miles from my house each way, and a bit further for kev

The pub is called the hermit and is very close to the M6 and M62 it is a good size pub with a good size car park so should be suitable if we get quite a few people, its also a biker pub at weekends so im sure they wont mind a few noisy vauxhalls turning up

the postcode is WA2 8SN

Just to echo Niges words really it's been hard work looking for somewhere to have the meet central in the region but hopefully we have a good spot here yes me & Nige will travel we want the region to grow and be a force to be reckoned with. Are aim is for the regional meets to grow then hopefully show more with Mig in 2011

When the bad weather draws in and the meets go to sundays there is also a nice carvary at this pub

After the meet we want your feedback on venue if possible!

I am new to this site but am just been coming back from cousins in southport and saw two highly modified corsas going in opisiy direction. Just woundering if your on here and coming to this meet. I may come tonthe meet as its only 4 mile away just round corner. Only have a standard corsa b but wouldn't mind coming to see some modifications I could do.

I have been past on the way to work and the car park is a fair size amd they do rly nice food. The only thing is that what a remember invthe winter in the ice and snow they sometimes close that road and its more like slid down it nit drive so we ( the site) will need to find else were. If you wantbit around that area I will have a look around wile I'm out if I mo how many people are going to turn up and will keep you updated as the site works good on the iphone.
