Besides, anyone bailing out of this region now will miss my epic barbecue food at Billing next year when me and JamieD have a cook off! Kev and Nige are co-ordinators, they co-ordinate meets, they are not there to hold your bleeding hand if you cant be bothered to introduce yourself. Are they mind readers?

EDIT: I will PERSONALLY make a point of walking around asking EVERYONE if they are there for the MIG meet next time, just for a laugh. Just so that no-one can use that same excuse in future? I propose that the next meet is at Alton Towers? lmao

Sorry if I sound like a sarcastic ****, which I am TBH, but the first time I went to anything whilst a member of MIG was to Billing in about 2005? I turned up not knowing a soul, camping for the weekend (I had met Dave Broomfield once previously IIRC but didn't see him all weekend!). I put the effort in to get to know people, I didn't expect them to come over and say Hello (although, maybe they should as co-ords TBH?) but it is hard to judge when people are mainly in a pub.

I know Nige said he made an effort with a group and kind of got blanked so maybe cry that he didn't gang rape you all or something?

well thats gunna help,sure people are going to want to come after people like u sounding like a wanker (sarcastic or not) but when ur not sure who, who is, and ur tring to work it out, plus u dont want to seem like ur trying to force ur way into a conversion, id rather just watch the cars coming int the car park, im asuming one of the lads sat outside was nige as we were entering the car park? the lad who came along with me would have had less of clue as me to who any of you are, ashe isnt a member on here.
also we would have left early either way as me mate had to pick his kid up.

Dale - Wayne does not mean offence that's just him you'll learn that he's the same in person and on here but you'll see he has alot of advise to give and will always help.

It was myself and nige outside the front waiting for people to turn up we thought we would let people settle in rather than just jump on people as they turned up as I personally think it's rude. We need the feedback to learn it's new to us aswell and technically it's only are second meet ( we did a rolling road in feb) so it's still early days

thanks for all the feedback as said by kev this was a bit of a trial run on our parts really, as for the meet being a bit quiet i have spoken to another user on here via PM and he was heading up with 6 other cars and got stuck in major traffic not far from his home and was there for an hour, so turned back,

as kev said it was me and him sitting at the front of the pub we didnt really want to jump on people as soon as they arrived, so let them settle in, me and kev have been discussing the next meet and may make some adjustments as with the nights drawing in, it got dark quickly and made it difficult to look over the cars, as thats what we are all there for.

i will make sure im in my migweb regional t shirt next time so people can recognise me out from the crowd and will do my upmost as wayne said to day hi to everyone in the pub LOL

I don't see the problem we was out with the cars at the end and people could of happilie came ovet and said hello. I was at with nige and keV and they included me with the convos and settelee me in well as it was the first meet I have been to with mig. Al you need do is come ovet and chat.

We I'm thinking leave outside part from lights leacr th 1.2 engine and just mod it. Lower it with the steal wheels with proper low profile Tyres and got my exhaust in back but need about half afoot left bend pipe to fit and can't fitbit anywhere black out windows remove all trim. Just the usual lol.
You nee get yours down next time lol moor cars and another astra. I'm looming at combo van at the moment so that will be fun

i dont mind, just obviously its hard to know whos who especially as im fairly new on here but, i should of realy introduced myself, just as you were already talking i just left it but face to a name threads a good idea, if the meet was earlier i would of been there longer.

Think the location is spot on tbh just be nice to have all the cars in one spot not scattered all over the show say like at the back of the car park.

When I arrived there was no one outside so me being me would have felt awkward going into a pub out of my area asking everyone who they were.

Anyway i'm sure i'll get to know people at the next meet,

And one last thing i'm sure Nick wasn't trying to cause a row it's just we were expecting it to be a little bit more of a car thing than actually being in the pub etc, but think wayne hit the nail on the head by saying it's a learning curve for the newbies to meets like myself.
