Bastard rollers were on strike for the Metro's. My old mans made 200 lb/ft and then mine was missing a number from the start and came out with 67 at the wheels. It's a conspiracy I tell you! lmao

Cheers Kev and Nige for sorting it (not sure who Nige was as I didn't get to meet him, I am sure Kev will 'meat' him at a later date! ) I couldn't see you about as we left yet your car was still there?

Top to see Dave's van in the flesh, my favourite vehicle there TBH. Awesome craft! Loved the fact it was revving to 7.5k but I am not sure what that debris was that came out of the exhaust on the second run?

Me and my brother called down in my cav turbo. Only stayed for abit, seen the metro's go on and a cav V6. Wanted to put mine on but didn't have the spare money. Great turnout though.

    the cav V6..........

was a good day considering how late and knackered I was, was humourous to say the least about the 200lb/ft on the 100 lmao

The day has really made me miss my turbo!

There were some very very well prepared cars there, but as Wayne said the white van was the favourite. Did that screem or what! It sounded like a turbine. Beautiful.

My car would'nt start when I got home. On inspection the alternator was goosed. One has to question whether it was anything to do with being on the rollers on a V6 setting? That aside it was a very enjoyable day. Many thanks.

Minbin i loved the metro, Must be a little corker on the road. Think ive got a pic of the operator holding down the bonnet as the big fan nearly blew it off, had to do the same for waynes too. Loved your instant reaction after your first dyno run by the way.....'Thats a load of bollox that',glad they ran it again for you.

Re: NorthWest Rolling Road day 27th February 9am (TV in Attendance)

People don't believe me but I have honestly not picked on anything yet on the road that has been quicker. That said there is plenty out there. As you can imagine people get well pissed off being blown off by such a sh*t little car. The car is actually my wifes winter drive. Her summer Metro cabriolet, which we've had from new, will be going back on the road at the end of the month. That is running a 2002 solid cam Elise engine which is only
running 135 bhp & 140 torque. I am at present working on another VVC 160 with cams, lightened flywheel etc, plus the stronger PG1 box with brand new torsen diff, Uprated 3.9 final drive & slightly longer 5th for motorway cruising. This really is a 'tarts' car!
I have to admit I was losing impetus but it has been re-ignighted this weekend.
