    Re: pv show 2010

Some of the best and fastest vauxhalls attend and compete at pv show santa pod for example speckys 11 sec tigra, chips rwd let nova, vauxsport assorted power cars, eds boost beast the list goes on and on these are just some of the top guys !

All these top guys will attend and will always attend as every year have a new powerfull motor to achive closer to that 10 sec quarter.

to even compete and get close to these guys is a achivement alone let alone to be racing up the strip against them

Dont know about half the sad stereotyped idiots in this forum but chavs do not bother me because i am there to see the cars and participate in races not to socialise with a bunch of muppets !

Its getting a bit old now the chav thing give it a break i mean when was the last time you saw someone wearing a burbery hat m m m in essex in so 2003 sad people get alife and move on.

What is the word chav supposed to mean . . . . if it has the definition of a thug/skally/trouble maker then i must be one of them coz im from liverpool and we all love a good rook around ere and boys will be boys !

only gay spiceboys/muppets complain everyone else gets on with it and is there to race !

they are all big money big power cars and they are my competition ! !

IF ANYONE HAS A PROBLEM WITH THIS REPLY THEY CAN PM ME AND ILL CUM AND SORT YOU OUT WITH THE BOYS LOL !

^^^^ wow what a great reply. and for the record, as im sure you'll see by reading back through this thread, not once has anyone said its to do with the 1/4mile strip action or the cars on the strip. its a combination of the poor way the event is run from queing to camping (which wasnt mentioned in this thread but has been brought up in the past) to the youngsters (or more commonly known as chav's) that tend to walk around gobbing off loud, usually with their shirts off in the sun, wearing the burberry baseball caps, bouncing their cars on the limiters all night with loud music spoiling things for everyone. and this isnt 2003, this was 2008 when i last went and from what i was told, 2009 which i didnt go to. and im betting 2010 which i wont be going to.

    Re: pv show 2010

sorry but PV was a massive dissapointment for me this year, not because of the show, that wasn't bad considering the weather, it was the camping the corsa sports bouncing their rev limiters until 4 in the morning then waking up and doing donut handbrake turns and spraying mud over everythin all morning, santa pod don't give a **** and that's the shame, I hope that the organisers decide to go with a different venue in the future but that's never going to happen.

too many text type tards on the boards and too many i real life attending nowadays, they know no-one can touch them so their numbers increase each year.

I'll be at PV but like **** am I EVER camping there again.

You have a cracking temprament, so perfectly suited to the role of a regional co-ordinator.

Try reading what Gaz said about text talking, you may just learn something?

I will be attending PVS 2010. I have attended this event since it started and I love it. For PVS 09 the Mrs and the kids came down too. She drove the Astra Coupe all the way down from central scotland with the kids in the back (380 odd miles!). I told her the weather was great every year and the camping was great. lmao No this year! It poured wi rain and we were kept awake all night by (as mentioned before) idiots revving engines an blastin stereos. Iv not got a problem with folk who do this - BUT it grated on the nerves at 3am. ESPECIALLY when shes goin nuts about the weather/ driving for nearly 10 hours and wanting to go to sleep.

The weather, the limiter bouncing (wanna be "pro" rally driving) muppets, the lack of marshalls "havin words" these idiots ats 3am or daytime (accidents/ grass churned), blah blah, WILL NOT STOP US RETURNING

We go for the CARS, the STRIP, the BANTER, the ATMOSPHERE and of course to meet the users on here in person. Roll on June!

If I want to see fast cars I'll go to TOTB, if I want to see the best vauxhalls I'll go to Billing, if I want to go on the strip I'll go to a normal RWYB day and get loads of runs rather than the 3 you get at shows, banter I'll get on a trackday....don't see where PVS enters into any of that, watching 1.2 Corsa's plod up the strip doesn't really appeal to me if I'm totally honest

I'll be there but purely as a face for the club. My enjoyment of the event has dwindled over the last couple of years. Oddly enough the jap show which i used to attend always seemed better run
Please ensure all events queries are pm'd in my direction. Please be patient and i will get back to you very soon.

    too fookin right,

i did get my own back already tho, had some c11nt revving his car on the limiter and shouting bollox all night, i found their tent, and when we was up early next morning had to start the gte and leave it running for a bit, so reversed it upto said tent, the chavs came out and asked what my problem is, me mate soon put them straight, lol, lets just say ill NEVER camp at santa pod pv again, as for usc, hmmm thats defo a saxo,106 chav fest, was gonna say corsa, but some peeps on here actually have some very nice corsa's and are defo not in the same catogory,

    rant over,

    NO EXCUSES !

I was dissapointed last year as the rain sort of spoilt it as well as the lack of cars !

08 and 07 was jam packed and the weather was **** hot.

I will find out dates as soon as and hopefully ill have my turbo all fitted in time
At the end of the day the question was who is attending.

My answer is: YES I WILL BE, and I will be taking my two sons aged 15 and 5 along with me - as believe it or not - they love watching the cars race and love vauxhalls just like their dad. If it rains we will wear waterproof clothing, if its sunny we will wear suncream. At the end of the day we would all like to watch, participate and enjoy the event then enjoy a half decent nights sleep after a very long drive. Everybody down there has the right to have fun (thats what we all go for), so a wee bit of consideration wouldnt go amiss to the folks camping, (never mind th safety issue of cars driving around a campsite sideways!). I do prefer camping as it saves on the queuing in the morning - plus all u gotta do is fire up the BBQ for brekkie!
