Gazjevs, did you get rid of your Xantia in the end mate and how did your mate get on with that car he had off me?

Yeah got rid of the xantia matey went on the bay in the end lol, Got myself a calibra since then to break but sold that as whole and got a 1.0 litre corsa as part ex aswell with light front end damage so just in middle of sorting that out lol.

Corsa is all done and rebuilt he just needs to get the insurance sorted then he's on the road the cheapest qoute he's had though is £2000 with a deposit of £405 , It's actually quite mad as he is sorting it today hopefully with endsleigh lol

Been to E.Port auctions recently? I refused to go back after they took Chester over but I've heard there are actually some cheap motors there these days.
What's your Corsa like by the way, much damage or an easy job?

Yes I know mate it's ridiculous mate he's got one with elephant now for 1100 fully comp so he's sorting it out later on.

Not been there for a few weeks fella with it being christmas and everything might pop along later on though see what's going thru, yeah you get the odd bargain in there.

As for the corsa it's an easy fix just needs a new bonnet and the slam panel pulling out a little, i'll get a pic of it later on.

Sorry to hijack thread but can't get these locking nuts off my gte you know anywhere that might be able to help dude??

It's ok mate, no hijacking here it's an open thread for North Westerners to say what they like (within reason of course!). Have you tried Machine Mart mate? I'm sure they sell a tool to crack locking nuts? Other option is maybe to either heat them up or twat them off somehow (hammer and bar) but I'd try and get someone with the proper tool to have a go. My local garage might have one mate, if so he'd probably do it for a small drink.
Bonnet shouldn't cost you the earth for the Corsa should it?

I've tried everywhere to get these nuts off lol, Machine mart don't have anything like that I tried there few weeks ago, It's really doing my head in now though cos need to get new tyres on it for it to pass mot, that's all It failed on was 3 tyres!!

Yeah can get a bonnet cheap enough it's just getting it the same colour bud

What size tyres are they Gaz? Also, although horrendously expensive, have you tried Roadrunners in Saltney for the bonnet? There's a fair chance they'll have one same colour. I'll ask my local garage about the nut splitter when I'm well enough to go out the house again and let you know.

I think there 195/55/15's bud, No not asked about the bonnet yet until tuesday when I get paid.
