Scrap/Auction advice

I need to dispose of my old vehicle. It is a 1997 Vauxhall Calibra 2.0 16v in magnetic blue. It has a full vauxhall fitted Reiger bodykit and 18 inch shadow chrome alloy wheels with legal tyres. The car has some body damage and I have now purchased a new car. The car has 11 months MOT, not sure about tax.

Below are some pictures:

Picture of other side of car when washed etc:

The car has 112k. Hoping to get something for it but not sure what. Can anyone suggest a sensible disposal, insurers advised pre dent value at £1400 (which I consider a bit silly).

Thanks.

IMO you'll be lucky to get any "disposal" company to give you any sort of real money for it. you are best to either break or sell as spares/repair type sale. ebay might be a good bet but its a gamble at best.

Best you'll get from a scrap or disposl company is probably 70 quid tops. Ebay your best bet or what I suggested by pm earlier. As I said if you are waiting for a payout on it once it comes through the MOT will be worthless. Also they'll probably want to take the car back off you.
Again, as suggested earlier, if you are allowed to keep it you'd be best selling the wheels and kit yourself, returning the car to standard and getting what you can for the rest.
