| Stuart Sanderson at Motorsport Developments is (IMHO) the best in the business for remapping of all makes of road car on their original management.

| PS
Their off the shelf chip for your car gives 30bhp increase according to the website, so its an ECU he has already remapped before and will be totally familiar with. |

| Thanks chip but ive already tried them! My car is 1.9 T4 and they only do chips for 2.0 T4's, i get the feeling its quite a specialist job, but thanks for the info! |

| Oh, thats unusual, as Stu can normally map pretty much anything, I guess it must come down to the fact he woudl have to buy a set of checksums for it that he might not be able to use all of and hence could end up badly out of pocket. |

| Ok ive done a little more digging and it seems that the car cant be tuned directly from the OBD port, and chipping involves soldering the ecu, which i guess many tuning companies shy away from. Is this normal or am i just unlucky? |

| Did you actually phone stu@msd to ask for advice, or when you say "ive tried them" do you just mean you looked on the list on the site? |
