I mentioned to a few people over the weekend that PVS was probably my last Car Show in the UK, as i'm moving to Finland within a couple of months!! * We've got loads of family & friends over there, so my mum & dad are selling the house and we're all moving there. I've been on holiday over there loads of times so its almost like a second home for me already.

I'm gonna be busy on the weekend of Billing, but it would be cool if we could arrange another local meet to say goodbye. I've only been a full member for a couple of years, I know I can be a bit quiet/shy most of the time, but i have really enjoyed ALL the Shows/Meets that i've been to and its been a pleasure to meet you all.

I'll still keep in touch online, via the forum and i might even try and coincide holiday(s) back here with 1 of the major shows. And you're all welcome to come to a Show in Finland sometime... It'll probably be a very busy next couple of months for me, with all the arrangements & stuff, but I'll let you know soon any possible dates for one last meet, if anyone else is up for it......??

*PLEASE donnot quote/mention this in non-members areas at this moment, because I haven't told my Work yet, and some of them occasionally look on this forum (probably just to check up on me lmao )... I'll let you know when I hand in my notice

on the car front - I will probably be selling the diesel beast in the next month or so, if anyone is interested...??

Ideally i want to get something a bit bigger myself, so i can drive over there & take some of my stuff with me - maybe like a Frontera/Isuzu4x4/Landrover/ or similar (preferably left-hand-drive).

As a family we'll have to think about international cargo, or hiring a big van/truck, or......?? But i wanna get something myself too.

ChrisR - thanks for organising that Meet, I'll be there... (but it might not be my last*)

I can't make it to Billing this weekend, but I hope all of you who are going have a really good time.


*just a quick update on my situation: last month we did have a buyer for our house and everything was looking good. But then a few weeks ago they had some problems with the sale of their house and so had to pull out of ours. Its still on the market, but we haven't had anyone come round to see the house for a few weeks. Hopefully this is just because everyone has been busy watching the World Cup, etc. and the market should pick up again (btw, if anyone here wants to buy a lovely 3 bedroom house with a nice big garden, just let me know ). Its just really difficult at the moment, not being able to make too many plans either here, or in Finland, until we sell the house and/or I find a decent job in Finland. I've finished my HNC at college now, so thats one thing out the way and is also a further addition to my CV, which hopefully will attract some companies over there when I send it to them. But I'll just have to wait and see what happens...
