    Meet locations?? Any ideas??

Right guys, I know this has been brought up many times before and I am bringing it up again!!

Generally we meet at the Winwick Quay. This is a good location as it is central and is has a big overflow car park which means we can all park up together and get no hassle from anyone. The food is quite good too which is a bonus if anyone wants to eat.

Unfortunately it is prob too good a location as we always go there!! lmao And I know 1 or 2 have commented on us always going there.

I know the VXLSCC use Preston Brook. This is another pub. Located in Runcorn and just off the M56 it is very handy to get to but does not have as much space as Winwick.

I am open to suggestions. But it needs to be accessable to the majority and have plently of parking space. We also should be free of security problems, for example, trafford centre would kick us off!!!

    Cheers for any ideas guys!!

    Steve.

If you wanted a new location then Warrington is out of the question really now. Winwick Quay is a very patient pub considering the havock been caused around there in the past (see old Warrington Riverside meets), clearly there's an advantage of only 20 or so cars and not 100's but Cheshire Police are a nightmare.

Have you tried getting out of Cheshire or does it seem to be a nice central location for the NW crew?

    MASCRAT MANOR PUB/RESTAURANT - J21a M6 and J10 of the M62 (Crossover)

This place can take about 60 cars and is used for the jap uk meets every 2nd Monday of the month, and also the Lotus meets.

Perfect place for a big meet, big car parks, excellent veiws, excellent food and beer.

Getting premission off the manager shouldnt be a problem also

I like it!! Sounds interesting and could do with trying somewhere different!!

Any feedback from everyone is welcome. Is everyone ok with trying somewhere different, prefer to stay with winwick, or any other suggestions?

Not an idea for a meet but some gen info there is a meeting in chester every sunday night and is gaining popularity with each weekend there are several places this cruise goes:~

    1, shotten paper mill
    2, lexus garage
    3, bookers cash and carry
    4, international hotel

on average there is 100+ cars each weekend depending on the weather.

    activitys depend on location

lexus and shotton paper mill have race strips and they have a leader table with points for racing main leaders are skylines and celica gt4's

    bookers show and tell

international some where to keep dry

the police often show up but are very cool as long as no one is being dangerous.

security are cool (im one of them, sush)

    girls are plentyful

cars are very nice lot of money been spent on them with some very good idea's.

for a meeting place for just us probably not a good place as everyone joins in with everyone but just for a laugh on a sunday night its great.

maybe see some peeps down there.

p.s if this is wrong area please move to right spot and accept my appologise
She started and is running Im so happy

tbh i dont think you will get many people from mig going to street racing with lexus lights being the in thing and also i wish more police would do somthing about this sort off thing as it tars every one with the same brush which i try my best to steer well clear

Next time i speak to Shotton I'll ask about this. When you say 'race strip' do you mean something official or weekly illegal meets?

Sounds more like a cruise to me. Not really the ideal place to have a meet. Plus I don't fancy having chavs walking past my car with their Lizzy Duke jewelery and scatching the paint...
