Im Adam, from Darlington.
I drive / drove a '94 1.8 8v Cavalier LSi, Satin red.
I've had it off the road from almost 5 months now, as it turned into a WIP fairly soon after purchasing it.
I have an extensive WIP thread on
CavalierCrazy.co.uk Mods or parts replaced so far:- Debadge
- K&N air filter
- Aftermarket sound system, factory speakers were shot.
- Replaced all 4 leaking dampers
- Fitted Gmax -45mm springs and 'sports' dampers
- Fitted badgless, GSI, meshed grill.
- Colour coded vectra handles
- Fitted black leather interior
- Painted / colour coded door mirror housings
- Personal plates added
- Lexus rear lights
- Put LEDs behind most of the Dash switchs
- Cleaned up the Cam cover
- New HT leads
- New NGK spark plugs
- New Sump
- New Sump gasket
- Hand brake cable
- Front brake pads
- Replaced / renewed a section of fuel line as it was rotten and leaking petrol.
- Fitted new reverse switch
- Fitted vauxhall richbrook polished metal gear knob (bit of chav lol)
- Fitted new speedo as the originals stopped working
- Painted calipers red
- Undersealed the whole of the underside of the car.
- Fitted an Irmscher badge to the grill (will supply pic as probally not what your thinking)
- New lamba / oxygen sensor
- Fitted eye brows but some c**t snapped them off
Parts / styling to do list:- Fit SRi front and rear bumpers
- braided break hoses,
- fit new front discs (about 6K left on the current ones)
- fit new drums and shoes, or a rear disc conversion.
- renew auxiliary belt,
- Fit new CAT converter + gaskets for CAT
Then hopefully send it for a clean MOT
