| New Region. New Year. New Co-Ordinator - New Start. The end of the new year sees Rik resigning as Regional Co-ordinator: Quote: |
To be honest, i don't have the time any more, with having a lot on at work and my personal life, I am also moving out of home hopefully early next year so will have even less time to organise meets.
| Thanks for your help Rik and we look forward to seeing you at the meets in the new year
Wazpaz has stepped up to assist myself with the North East Region. Wazpaz otherwise known as Warren Parry owns a black 300bhp Cavalier Turbo; I'm sure you've all seen it at the shows.
We realise as a new region we've had afew teething problems; namely getting a monthly meet sorted. Over the next month we want to discuss (as a region) the most convinient time/place each month to have a meet, without fail. At the first meet we're going to be given each attendee some MIG flyers to hand out; we're keen to push numbers up in this region and get some new faces to the meets!
Things that will be happening in the new year: - Geneva Motorshow Trip Last year wazpaz and I went to Switzerland for the Geneva Motorshow. We stopped in a hotel overnight and flew back the next morning. Total costs were: flights - £35. show ticket - £15. hotel/food - £50. So a class two day trip for around £100. Although this year we are hoping to take in a strip club or two

- RWYB Event at York Dragway - The last one was a success so we will be running another one. Aiming for Easter Weekend if all goes to plan
- Rolling Road Day - We haven't held one of these yet, but they're always successful when we do> if we get enough names down maybe we can challenge the North West lot to a competition

| Well it appears I'll be crossing the border around New Year time so I'll be up for anything that might be going on, Mr B and I have crossed paths (and women) once or twice and I'll be looking forward to joining the region.

| I'm afraid not; Rik informed me he was leaving, then asked Warren if he fancied stepping up to the role. |

do you want it? | Can't really answer that as I don't know what is involved or expected and how much time it requires which is why I wondered if I had missed a thread or something.
I would however be happy to assist the current co-ordinators in organising some of the events if needed. |

| Thanks for that Gatecrasher, it's nice to know other members want to help. As for which region Sheffield is in, it is definately North east. |

| I'll be looking for anything i can get my teeth into once we move over there, something to start my year as I mean it to go on. If there's anything I can do to assist anyone just let me know.
What became popularly known as 'Garage StuBee' will obviously be moving with me, anything that I can help any member with regarding work to be carried out on thier car I'll be happy to offer my assistance.

| Nice to see a positive vibe for this region. I am guilty of not really showing my face much this year and would like to change this in 2006. |

| Hi guys sorry for not being here to introduce myself earlier, but i've recently moved out so i've been waiting for an broadband connection....
As DaveB says a new year a new start, last year was a slow one for our region and hopefully we can increase the membership numbers in the north east and get some new faces to the meets.
DaveB and I will get our heads together and sort some venues for meets and we'll keep you guys informed.
If anyone needs anything let me know and i'll try and help out where possible
cheers
