covering this the north eastern region will be Rik and DaveB.

| About time. Let's get some events/meets sorted out.
I see in the previous thread when this region was being decided Chris S suggested a meet at York Raceway on 1 May.
Anyone else up for that? They are having 0-60 timing gear on both lanes that weekend.

| Unfortunately I'm unable to make that date  I'm going to the 'Speedshow' on the 2nd may - Monday down south. YOu got your name down for that one mate?

wont be able to make it to the first show as i will be at work and also the car is looking a bit sorry for its self at the moment

| yeh glad to see we got our own region (shame i never got the job :-( )and a trip to york drag strip sounds fun, will be the first chance ill have to 'test' the new V6 ive put in me astra.
has anyone got the address for york strip cos the one on the website is for the head office which is nowhere near york???

| be a while before i make any events head gasket has gone after 1100 miles guy who built engine is getting it towed to him had enough so may be going up for sale when its all ok |

not sure weather my car will be drivable but will try to make it if its good weather etc. not like a couple of weeks ago, was freezing and wet  |

| we think its the head it all got checked before but its been skimmed to many times just got to wait two weeks cos he is to busy to look at it ive spent more time fixing it this year than drive it |

| yea we have both had same luck it is shame cos it was driving nice and ive not had one thing come loose told him i arent even touching it this time he is getting whole car and ill pick it up when its right |
