finally got my car all finished but it seems to be running really rich, ive tried backing off the screw on the fuel pressure regulator( is this the right way to lean it off) but it doesnt seem to have done anything, i havnt connected the vacuum to the fuel pressure regulator though, does this need to be connected? as i have read it doesnt
yeah i wound it out, but didnt seem to do anything, do you wind the top screw out and lock it with the lower screw cos thats what i did. Why is it running so rich
do you have a guage on the fuel rail? tbh the proper way to lean out the engine is to get it mapped properly, if you back off th fpr you could run too lean at some point in the rv range and melt a piston did you buy a mapping lead?
costs about three hundred quid to get it properly set up on the rollers, welle worth doing imo
