I have been fixing up my LET loom today before its installed, basically a few plugs had knackered wiring around them. So I replaced them, also made the loom a lot tidier.
I have found 4 wires poking out of the end of the loom (where the BLACK ign+ feed comes out).
They are all small gauge wires:
Brown
Brown w/red
Black w/yellow
white w/black
Brown = ground for 1st gear switch
Brown w/red = 1st gear switch
Black w/yellow }
white w/black } Reverse adpator loom for reverse gear switch.
Normally the brown and brown/red are reverse light switches, but when working on my mates LET the reverse was the black/ yello/ white ones. Was well confusing.
The reverse gear switch is probably used by the ECU Built In Test (fault codes) to know if the 1st gear switch is working correctly by using the speed MPH & RPM as the 1st gear and reverse gear ratio's are similar ?
Either that of boost limit.
