well after the chat with gav @ wallace he confirmed that its the inner bushes that you change
so they are the ones ive changed
but after 17 miles of driving the car i can confirm that the wheels look worse than they were :(
im not a happy chappie at present:mad:
in fact im fuming.
ive got alot of photos here to make a HOW NOT TO
im just hoping that they will bed in right
as they are a good few hours work

Bummer, you sound like you are having a nightmare with this.
I dunno about the Irmscher ones, but the adjustable ones have to be fitted the right way round in the arms to work propely, is this the case with yours?
btw, You spoke to me at Donny, I was the guy asleep in the green calibra you chatted to. I wrote the how2 guide for the adjustable ones!

Hope you get it sorted out soon.

hi mate
nice to be able to put a face to a name :D
and im very sorry to have woken you.
yes i am having a nightmare with these but maybe something isnt put in right.
i cant see gav at wallace wasting my time by telling me that they are the inside ones and someone else sending me these instructions (in german with a ???? translation)
i cant see the fitting instructions showing the wrong way that they fit
look heres a piccy i was just preparing for the flippin how to.
sorry no duck lmao

i was under the impression that these bushes dont need any adjustment at all.
i have driven the car and it feels better on the back
but it has the impression that its toeing in when looking down from above
why is it i feel like a ginuea pig here:confused:

The irmsher ones dont need adjusting. They alter the camber to the same as the DTM Calibra was set from the factory.

I give up, how can you tell???? Sorry you were asking me:eek: I'm not sure to be honest mate. I presume it's similar to the way they are shown in the picture on page 1. There is a line which you face towards the front of the vehicle. You'll then see that the inner shaft is offset towards the rear. I'm guessing thats the only way to tell.
