does anybody know what the differences are from a calibra 16v injector loom and a calibra turbo injector loom ?
can i modify a standard cally 16v loom to fit ?
what extra components are there ?
please help ?
Internal MAP sensor is the biggest difference. Without this you cant really run boost safely as the ECU will not know how much boost is running and fuelling will be wrong.
no i run a 20xe but i have fitted lets/phase kits in novas and know the loom well.... and i ripped my 20xe loom apart looking for weight savings lmao i've also rebuilt a fire damaged 20xe loom and a fire damaged 1.6 16v loom
so what about the map sensor and amal valve the ecu needs to know what boost etc and the 1st gear boost switch ?
i think i need a wiring diagram of both and see the difference.
any ideas ?
You can run standard loom and ecu if you want...............
Its possible, i know it is as a bloke i know has a cav sri with and xe engine loom and ecu with turbo inlet manifold and turbo.
couldnt beleive it myself but its true......... I have actually been in it and worked on it.............infact i will be probably sitting on its bonnet eating pizza tonight down at my mates workshop..........
Dont forget that LET's have a different trottle switch
