is it possible to fit nitrous to a mk4 1.7td?

have read somewhere that propane is the thing for diesels
suer i read one article once that said he used a small 2.5kg bottle and a solenoid.
i guess he used the regulator to sort out the quantity of gas required then the solenoid to inject it into the airbox
i bet you could mount the switch under the pedal somewhere to actutate it at full throttle.

is it any different to a petrol fitting wise?
and would I have to alter the ecu by chipping it?

Your best bet is to contact Chip (banned) or Nitrous-Junkie (his alter-ego), or whatever username he is using now. Phenominal knowledge on nitrous....

I've read something like this too about using LPG on the inlet. Aparrently it increases performance and economy

why has chip been banned?
If you wish to contact Chip at the moment please do so through the Wizard of Nos Forum. Why he has been banned is irrelevant to this thread.

hi
chip is not about today
yes you can use nitrous on a diesel, you do actually get better results because there is no spark issue to deal with
if you want any more info chuck a thread up on
