if you disconnect the air flow meter plug when the engine is running(c20let) should the car carry on running or should it stall?
Mine just stalled when i disconnected it.
Just wanted to find out because been tring to cure a fault with mine.

Where's the best place to get a lambda sensor from and is worth getting a bosch one over a uni one. Vauxhall prices are to ott!

cheers

ok thanks mate.
I did have a problem with the wire coming out of plug couplers and had it again recently! So had to put on a new one and now need a new lambda cause probably fooked.

Do you know what colour wires come from the loom and go to either A, B, C? and which ones go to the lambda from A, B, C? wont to make syre they're right.

Funilly enough, I popped a blody boost hose myself yesterday evening.
Having read www.max-boost.co.uk, I didn't curse, not even call the AA.:D lmao
Just let the dam thing roll to the edge of the road, switch off engine, open bonnet, unplug AFM plug, close bonnet, start engine, on yer bike...
Hell, it's not as responsive and the engine breathes unfiltered air, but you do get home.

The Motronic can calculate roughly the airflow from the TPS position and the intake pressure/temperature sensors.
