All,

Advice really..

Is the best way to remove a TXB & F28 to remove entire engine from car or can this be down while engine still in car.

I am asking as I know the TXB is a delicate pup, and as the one I am removing is mint (2wire) I dont want to damage it removing.

I presume easier to remove from car, but asking as pref I want to leave engine in car as will not be rebuilt/transferred to Mk1 for a couple of months yet. I apreciate there will be a mount down, but would think as car not moving the existing mounts will be enough to secure, well to allow to run.

All advice rec'd greatly....

Also ....

Does anyone know if all carlton Diffs are the same mounting, as in can the diff from a GSI be fitted to 2.0 (Est)

Thx

Kind regs

Bobby

IIRC the Carlton diffs are ther Same mounting as the Cavalier 4x4 Items as well.

So an LSD one from a GSI or Lotus would be nice.
