is it true they work on the LET's fine? susposedly gander uses one with his LET but he's never about to ask

yeah we tried my LET one, the early XE's AMM is the same plug but the i/d of the XE's AMM is smaller than that of the LET. I noticed Ganders AMM had large amounts of electrical tape on the clamping points so the turbo hoses fitted correctly.

Seeing as LET AMMs are not that common an early XE one is a cheap alternative

LET is prolly going to be ur best bet, if you want to stay with standard management anyways. If you want it to flow better remove the metal mesh plates on either side of the unit.

How comes people say that if you try and get anymore than 170 bhp out of an XE the afm spazzes out? but if you use it with a let with big boost/big bhp its ok

well i wouldnt say 170, but wacky cams do make it spaz out, because the pulse from the inlet valves migrates back down the induction path and you get static little pocket near the AFM. Air NO metre !!

as for the question, have you seen how far away from the throttle body the AFM is on an LET ? weyre talking metres, not inches lmao
