Hi got a problem folks

The clutch on my corsa gsi squeaks when ever i change from 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd, abit on 3rd to 4th but not on 4th to 5th. the sound sounds like a squeaky bed and it's coming from somewhere under the car and it's not the cable squeaking.

if i press in the clutch really really slowly while changing gears it doesnt squeak or if i rev the engine abit before i change gears there seems to be no squeak.

what could be wrong? transmission mounts or sumthing else? please help me the squeak is really embarassing

As lee stated it is the spring on the pedal.
The spring actually holds the pedal down so as to keep the cable taught, also it holds the cable in place.
It requires a bit of fiddly work to change but once done ahhhhh!
Spring costs around £1 from dealer and takes minute to fit,
Remove locking pin, Undo nut on spindle, Unclip the spring from chassis, remove spring from pedal, then remove cable, tap the spindle out, pedal will fall out. Replcae spring and refit all parts.:)
