Tigra a insurance

Hi,
Just purchased a 1.4 16v w-reg tigra a with 80,000 on the clock but have found that the insurance is astronomical why?...My partner who will be driving the car mainly she's 24 but 25 in august has driven for 5yrs with ncb is a staff nurse with the nhs car for social domestic only has no previous claims etc & the quotes are nearly as much as our golf gti mk5 we had?.... I've shopped around as i always do but all of the insurers we're coming back with same sort of figure £800 quotes plus. What am i doing wrong?

yes there high insurance group i had one years ago and it were a group 11 on insurance so i got rid after i got kit from my dads traders

someone wrote my mrs tigra off about 2 months ago and she bought a zr and insurance went down haha
