****ing flying up thanks to certain groups spending their days scamming. *****. Not content with the aid we send to their country presumably.

Anyhoo, tell Flux to flux off and they might make it cheaper, insurers love having a go but often miraculously find a cheaper price when you say no.

    Re: insurance gone up!

Car insurance should Never have been made Compulsory, it should only be available as an option, not all girls need to insure their tits unless you are a model.

    Here is my reason why:

    1. If you drive carefully, and pay all the attention required on the roads, 100% that is, and you are a good driver with good perception to accident vulnerability, then logically there should be no reason for you to have an accident, if you were unlucky and did have a minor to modert accident, then you cough up the damages from your own pocket. You can always apply for a loan if you did not have enough funds to meet a third party repairs. And pay reasonable componsation to the other driver if he or she can't work for a few weeks to a few months.

    2. If someone is unfortunate and dies in a car accident, or suffers disability, then the state should provide the dependends with benefits, no lump sum payment allowed, except for funeral expenses where deaths have occured and there is absolutely nothing wrong if the tax payers money is used to support those unfortunate dependends or victims, in return the tax payers who own cars do not have to scumb to greedy insurance sharks.

    3. It will halt all scums in their tracks who stage and fake motor insurance claims.

    4. If a car damages property, a seperate property insurance will cover that damage. Most properties are insured by their owners, those who don't insure properties accept the risk.

    5. And instead of paying a grand or more for the car insurance to protect it against being stolen, get a proper alarm fitted and deter theft, most cars now a days can't be stolen easily due to immobilisers, so get a proper alarm or fit tracking devices so that in the event it is stolen it can be recovered.

( As more people are giving up driving due to reckless cost of insurance, and higher cost of running a car, high fuel prices, increased road tax charge, other penalties introduced by local authorities like CCTV camera issuing penalty tickets is forcing motorists to give up driving altogether, which in turn causes insurance companies to put up incurance charges to componsate their loss of revenue)

Its about time Govt reviewed the car insurance and remove the compulsory element.

Alternatively, Insurance companies should introduce cheap insurance policies which only pays against serious injuries, or deaths such permanent physical impairment or death but no whiplash injuries and not to pay for damage to own or other cars, if you drove bad or reckless or carelessly, and caused an accident, then you suffer the consequences, get a bloody mortgage and pay damages and be banned from driving for the rest of your life or until you have paid off the mortgage.
