driving other vehicles question.

hi all, i have a motor trade insurance policy that obviously enables me to drive anything. when i get a car that im selling or running for my self i upload the reg plate to the motor insurance datatbase so that it shows on anpr etc that its insured. what i wanted to know is that if my freind who has cover for other vehicles on his normal policy is insured to drive my cars i have insured on my traders policy or is it different with it being a traders?

As far as I know, he's not covered in that way.

i will have to get him to ring his insurance and find out. i would have thought he would be as the car is insured on my policy and his policy covers him third party to drive a vehicle not belonging to him as long as it has insurance on it.
